Advocacy

The mission of the Capitol View Park Citizens Association (CVPCA) is to foster and advance issues of public interest in Capitol View Park and vicinity.  To meet that goal, the CVPCA works closely with local and State governmental entities to improve the quality of life in our community -- with a particular emphasis on pedestrian safety and traffic calming.  CVPCA advocacy has recently resulted in the installation of a four-way stop sign at the intersection of Grant Avenue and Loma Street and the reduction in the speed limit on neighborhood residential roads to 20 miles per hour.  If there are areas of community interest to you, please contact any member of the CVPCA Executive Committee.
